Uncovered Korean War Photographs

The Chosun Ilbo has published some recently rediscovered photographs from the US National Archives from the Korean War that are worth a look.Here is a picture of the Namdaemun Gate in Seoul during the war:

    With all the vial episodes that are happening in the world today, the loss of this national treasure for the South Korean peole,by an act of arson, on Jan 11 2008 is senseless and tragic. The World community should step up and rebuild this 600 year old structure and show that like the pheonix something that is bad can rise from the ashes
