I believe the guy is a history teaching in high school in the US. He responded to an email of mine once some time ago. He has an excellent collection of material that you don't run across much at all from different times in American history. I teach ESOL and English in the US now, and I've used the audio files from his site to really capture time periods like WWII and so on. If you like glimpses into American history, it is a great site to look around. Speaking of Korean War comics, I want to plug this excellent American history site.
