I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Gen.Bell at Ft.Stewart at the beginning of the war,and he was absolutely correct in asking every soldier what their particular job was.Some replied', "medic", or "truckdriver", or "admin"..He replied that "you are all wrong". Your job is to kill terrorists. i never forgot that because after 4 tours and seeing again what I saw as a SpecialOperations medic, he was exactly right so my opinion is whatever he feels that is good for Camp Humphreys is no doubt probably correct…SFc CandiOBelle USAR 723rd MSC(Airborne)BTB Special Operations South.

First of all, I was there firsthand when Gen.BBBell came to Ft.Stewart when we were going to deploy to Iraq on my 2nd tour in 02-03.he asked all the soldiers what were their jobs in the military.Some responded,"cooks", or drivers, or medics,or 'add-men'..(administrative 71L)..he responded "You all are soldiers and your job is to kill terrorists!",, That statement 5 years later has come to be true and exact.After 9/11 he was hot and adamate about completing the mission of makin America safe from these insurgents.he was exactly right!….3 tours later and now on the drill field,I was honored to have met him.I kidded with Gen.Bell b/c my last name is "Bell" and Im a black soldier.He laughed and enjoyed the harmless joke and patted me on the back.I was honored to have met him..There's my answer..

Hmmm…

A lot of people complain about Silly Sally… but, try as I might, I never find anything insincere… and it is generally clever.

So… what part of her post was wrong?

I, too, am somewhat interested in how General Bell's strategy of demanding a quick and painless relocation is going to work when he really doesn't have any way to threaten the Koreans no matter how much they lollygag.
