		<description>If this was tried in the US it would never work, however with Asia&#039;s appetite for anything cute, it does work.  Plus the military in ROK likes to show a softer image than the hard ass ROK Army image they are usually associated with. </description>

I could not stop laughing and rolling on the ground when I read this.  I think you can also post this under your Dokdo Madness subject. 
 
BTW, do you think having cartoon mascots work to the benefit of the military image?  I know this will never work for the US military, but in certain Asian countries it seem to work.
