Hadn't realized everyone was quite so bored here as to leap at the first available opportunity in months. Enjoy your next president, folks!

Just to add to what Jax said I may be an a**hole but it doesn't discredit the information I have provided. The fact that personal attacks have to be launched just further strengthens the argument I have posted.

Burnett just like Hutto is a plant and just further proof of the politicization of the military.

Ah yes ... the tell-tale signs of a leftist argument:

1) Attempt to devalue the opposition through a personal and profane attack.

2) Create an illusion that "diversity" and "world/cultural" based viewpoints are exempt from legitimate criticism.

3) Make a morally ambiguous claim that one's dubious activities are actually good for you because they seek the "solutions" that somebody else wants.

4) Finally, continue to foster the myth that the USA has bad relations with the rest of the world (read: left-wing world). Here's a hint: The US has always had bad relations with the left-wing world because the majority of Americans refuse to live under left-wing values. Likewise, countries like France, Germany, South Korea, Italy, etc. are throwing out their left-wing, anti-US regimes and instead electing right or center-right governments that are friendly to the USA. Plagued relations? ... I think not.

Fisky, your play on leftist buzz words can fool the trolls at moveon.org, but it has no traction here.

The right to voice a difference of opinion was given to "us" by the Constitution. The responsibility of protecting that right is performed by the SOLDIER that hosts this blog and performed in the past by many veterans like myself.

While the whiny chourses constantly complain about "rights", some of us have in the past and in the present time stoically and quietly assume the "responsiblity" that to many psuedo-intellectuals will never grasp.

The man responsible for presenting this information, I couldn't help but sense from his (and I'm certain it is a he) tone, is a complete and total a**hole. But diversity of opinion is what makes this country the great place that it is, and what contributes to its rich cultural life. That's the only additional information I felt this post could benefit from. Thanks for your anger. But let's try solutions. Spc. Burnett seems to at least be making concerted efforts at finding solutions to what plagues our country's relations to rest of the world, a world we all share.
