He filled a lot of sand bags around the camp because the monsoon season was coming, pulled weeds, painted buildings, among a host of other stuff from 0900-2100 hours every day. Plus he did it while wearing his full gear. It was not a pleasant experience for him. I had a guy on hard labor for 30 days and for those 30 days he worked directly for the battalion CSM.
