Hmmm...

Being that the position of the country's name in the English alphabet is obviously so important, it might go something like this...

Korea huffs and changes it's name to Corea. Victory over Japan is complete.

Japan snorts and reverts to using the old Chinese name (as recorded by Marco Polo) of Cipangu... beating out Corea by a 5 whole letters.

Corea furrows it's brow and goes retro with a name change to Chosan putting them one up on Cipangu.

Cipangu scowls and searches its history books before deciding on the ancient name of Akitsushima.

Chosan digs back through five thousand years of history and stumbles upon Asadal. K L M N O P Q R S. Drat... better change the spelling to Aasadal. Beat that!

Next step: Argue about the name of the Sea of Akitsushima.

I'm surprised they haven't lobbied to some global organization to swtich 'korea' to 'Corea'. Latin Americans already use the latter, and if North America and Europe follows suit, corea will finally tower over Japan. The Japanese may have survived Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but the country being outranked by 'Corea' in alphabetical order? They could never recover from such devastation.

Even the N in "Nippon" (or is it Nihhon) is several letters after C in "Corea". Pil Seung, Corea!

"Huh teun soojak"

Why must Koreans employ such tactics.
