Guys, I used to laugh at these tales and think of them as just another piece of classic Corean xenophobia as well, but after meeting a number of English teachers over the past two or three years, I have to say that the drugs/sex/party allegations are mostly correct.

Since the fickle Corean mind is so quick to stereotype, you can bet that any Corean who sees this will think that all English teachers are unqualified potheads who prey on the pure-blood K-virgins….

Think about it though…if the only qualification sought by most hagwons is that the person be Caucasian, then what do you expect?

I would not be surprised either if a storyline about low quality foreign English teachers preying on sweet innocent Korean women is included in the show. Hopefully it does makes its way on to the net at some point. It should be quite humorous.

The preview didn't show it but I'm sure they will find a way to work the sex angle in there too. Hope this show ends up on the net so I can see it too.
