Well that’s a start. Notice it is a small temple on top of a mountain.

Chickenhead, got it. It is the Seokkuram Grotto which contains a famous statue of the Buddha that is considered part of the World Heritage area in Gyeongju. It is located on a hill just above Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju. Mark nearly got it.

I realized I was wrong when I checked out Banya-bong on Google Earth. The resolution of the imagery for that area isn’t high enough.

Not to quibble, but which building is the grotto entrance?
7:16 am on September 15th, 2007 16
It has been seven years since I went there but I believe the Buddha was in the building towards the top of the hill.
