And I can count on one head, with 4 digits missing, the number of times I have seen any Koreans step into a street altercation involving strangers.

In the US, at least in the city I was a cop in, in the above situation, we would not have arrested anybody. We'd have written a report and told the two he said-he said parties that if they wished to pursue their legal options further, they could get a copy of the report and talk to a violent crimes detective and go to court to seek out an arrest warrant from a judge.

Except.......no matter whose story we believed, the Korean who threw the punch right in front of us would have to be arrested - no matter what. We see it...ya gotta go....

Yes it is always your fault. I still haven't seen a GI found innocent in Korea court yet.

What I love is that the people who join in to beat down the foreigner like what happened to you are usually called "concerned citizens" in the Korean media.

Yep Typical fight with Korean situation. Its always your fault.

This sort of thing happened to the Kingkitty back in the early 90s.

My wife and I were in Itaewon and she wanted to eat something I did not so I waited for her by going to a pet shop just up the road. I was looking at a Cat the the shop owner told me to get my dirty hands off the cat and that I would give the animal a disease. Confused I asked him what the F@@K he was talking about.

This guy attacked me and pushed me out of the store and outside was other Koreans waiting. The started shoving me and pushed me down the street a bit. One tried to hit me but he was not a good shot. Then some drunk guy sitting next to the police station....ok so we are infront of the police station....ran up and tried to kick me but in self defense I kicked him in the nuts.

Then the Police showed and by my limited Korean I understood that I attacked all these Koreans as they were minding their business...Then my wife approached with her mother in tow....My wife started yelling at the police and my mother inlaw started yelling at the police

In the end the Koreans disappeared into the crowd and the police apologized to my Mother in law...not me

Remember its always your fault
