Is it the Folk village at Suwon?

Hmmm… this looks suspiciously very un-Korean.

    Got a higher-res version?

    Gaeseong (or Kaesong) in N.K.

It looks like a historical TV drama set turned tourist village. There are actually villages near Shanghai that look like that, only more run-down. Homes align the canals, and people use boats to get around.

You all said you wanted a harder Korea Finder so hopefully this one is a bit more of a challenge. This picture is in South Korea. Sonagi is actually the closest and on to something.

    No not Bucheon.

Ok, thanks to a great tip from an anonymous “Nomadic” expat (lol), I’m going to say that it’s Wan-do, where the drama Haesin was filmed.

Rob got it. I wonder who your “Nomadic” expat could possibly be? :)

It is the Hae-shin set in the middle of Wando island. A really good place to check out if on the island. The set is supposed to represent Yangzhou, China and is set below some spectacular peaks that form the spine of the island.

Was this one hard enough for everyone?

Peace of cake, GI Korea ;)

Especially once I saw the hints that it was a movie set location. “Google is your friend” :)
