If there is one thing I really noticed in Korea and that is the lack of trash cans. Even on base sometimes you want to toss out something and there is no trash can

I never really had problems finding a trash can on post but off post they limit the trash cans because to many people will dump the trash from their homes in them to save money.
So when these new trash cans are emplaced in Seoul they have to be a type that will not allow someone to dump an entire garbage bag from their house in them.
