The afghan mujahideen thought some hail to be sent by allah as it exploded Soviet mines in much the same fashion.

I guess that is another way of looking at it. However, I prefer living in places where you don’t need to rely on Allah’s hail storm to detonate cluster and land mine munitions in the first place.

Heh. I too enjoy living without the threat of having my lower extremities shredded by munitions. My comment was a trivial addition not a defense.
