They are bringing in the camels because the trucks and helicopters the advanced nations (ie-Europe) promised the UN are not being delivered. Additionally they have not even filled the number of peacekeepers needed to field 26,000 force and the people they do have are from third world nations.
However, none of this matters because everyone feels better about themselves because “something is being done”. Plus at the end of the day you can still blame the US.

There is probably to few women in Darfur left for them to rape. Maybe some sheep should be deployed for them?

Unlike ANZAC I think UN mission in Darfur are mostly leg men, hence the camels..
