2007 Korea Finder Champion Announced

There is no Korea Finder today since Mark has wrapped up the title as the 2007 Korea Finder Champion.  His book of choice has been ordered from Amazon using proceeds I have made from readers purchasing products from the ROK Drop Shop.  The book is on the way to him right now.

I plan on starting Korea Finder again on the first week of January.  Right now I want to solicit some ideas on how to make Korea Finder better.  First of all, does issuing the Korea Finder late on Thursdays, Korea time work for everyone?  Secondly, I am thinking about adding more North Korean locations and people to the mix to make it more challenging.  Also I’m thinking about adding Japanese locations and people as well because I do have a large amount of people from Japan that do read the ROK Drop regularly and this would be away to include them.  Any thoughts on these ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also I would like to thank everyone who has participated in the Korea Finders this year.  Korea Finders have regularly been one of the most viewed postings every week by readers and I’m glad everyone has had fun with them.  Cheers.

    GI,

It would be nice to see some Korean-American related Korea Finder. Like Korea towns in CONUS or famous Korean Americans. Due to being over in CONUS in EST time zone, I always get to see your Korea Finder after somebody guessed it correctly.

If you are deployed to Middle East, can you do it on your prime time after dinner?

How about randomizing the times of posting? If you post at the same day/time every week, people are going to swarm like vultures at that particular instant.

CPT Kim, I like your idea of including prominent Korean-Americans. I will definitely include some Korean-American themed Korea Finders next year. Anyone else like Mark’s idea for random posting?
