If I didn’t need any more reasons why I dislike the Daily Kos like this, this, this, & this, they keep finding more reasons for me to dislike them; like comparing new US recruits to suicide bombers:

This image comes from Little Green Footballs which has also pointed out how Kos has tried to cover up this posting.
The picture of the US soldiers is from basic training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. During basic training soldiers carry their weapons with them at all times to prepare them for deployment when they would be caring their weapons with them all the time as well. These soldiers attended a religious meeting put on by the unit’s chaplain that is totally voluntary to attend. That is why the soldiers have their weapons and are holding Bibles. Unsurprisingly the Daily Kos decided not to mention any of this.
My old unit chaplain used to put on one special event every month with a guest speaker that was a totally voluntary for the soldiers to attend. Not once was holy war taught or did anyone infer anything about a holy war. I always find it interesting how the Godless leftists think the US is in a holy war in Iraq when the people who actually fight it don’t. Not once while serving in Iraq and since have I met anyone in the US military that thinks we are fighting a holy war. I have actually met people in the military who may have watched to many Michael Moore movies who think the US invaded Iraq for oil though, but never for a holy war.
These leftists hated the military before 9/11 and look for any reason to demagogue and bash the military now. Yes, question their patriotism.

I remembered when I was in Basic Training at Fort Benning, almost everyone in platoon volunteered to attend the chapel services. Those who stayed behind in barrack area were put in detail to clean the barrack floor. We were joking that why stayed behind on Sunday morning to go to hell.
