Inner City Problem Video

Seriously I don’t know what to make of this video, but for these two guys sake I sure hope they are not Japanese:

They are both Korean both speak perfect english. If my memory is correct they are both Koreans that have or are still living in the States. If seen them doing other stuff along with hip hop music.

Looks like Korean-American kids having a bit of a laugh at the expense of their folks. Fun stuff.

Having reviewed a few more videos, the Vietnamese also come in for a lot of ribbing too. They’ve got a couple of videos where they really give it to Vietnamese, and then there’s the repeated “Vietnamese are dirty Asians” they ascribe to the Koreans. I guess they’re pretty sick of hearing that one.

These guys are funny if you understand Korea but I can definitely see how people can take this the wrong way especially when they are calling African-Americans “chocolate people”.

If they are Koreans themselves that would save them from accusations they are making negative stereotypes of Koreans, but I would not be surprised if with more notariety that they receive more criticism.

Anyway, funny stuff and they seem ready to skewer everybody. The Koreans get it I guess because one of those kids is Korean and, of course, Koreans can be obnoxious.

Plus, they know that Curtis Mayfield’s “Move On Up” is the best song ever recorded. Gotta give them props for that.
