<!--%kramer-ref-pre%-->[...] http://rokdrop.com/2008/01/16/japanese-whaling-update/ It's very one-sided, but also a very interesting read IMHO. After you read this article you might think I am pro-whaling. This is not true, however. I am simply anti-Sea Shepherd. __________________ http://pepper.idge.net/japanese/ [...]<!--%kramer-ref-post%-->

Yes, I posted last year on how Korea was linked to illegally killing whales that drew some protests but nothing like what we have seen against the Japanese:

I am in no way endorsing the actions of the eco loon terrorists. Boy the humor of naming your vessel the 'Steve Irwin' a man who spent his life disturbing and torrmenting wildlife until he was finally taken out by one of his many victims. Sting Ray FTW!!!!

This thing needs an 'edit' button...

(and that’s just from the Sea of Japan). I relized this may not be clear enough to get my point across.. The Koreans are pulling in almost as many Minke as the Japanese but are only catching them in the Sea of Japan east of Korea, and they also don't have a fleet of Whaling vessels designed to do the job well. So the idea that it is accidental "bycatch" is suspect at best.
