Who can name what and where this area is?:

Here are this year’s Korea Finder Leadersboard:

Note that who ever totals the most points at the end of the year, I will purchase for them a Korea related book or DVD of their choice using the proceeds I have accumulated by readers purchasing items from the ROK Drop Shop.  If you like this website than please support it by buying your books, DVDs, and other products through either the ROK Drop Shop or by searching for products through my Amazon toolbar on my right sidebar.  Thanks.

Yongsan red light district, which according to the Coreans, doesn’t actually exist, in which case I change my answer to the area bounded by Sinyongsan station, Yongsan station, and Hangang-no street. The tall building casting the shadow is Korea First Bank, conveniently located.

Hmmm, I was going to say the Yongsan electronics market, or at least the edge of it, but I could be off. ;)

Rokdrop readers certainly couldn’t be expected to know where a non-existant redlight district is, as Korea has totally eliminated prostitution of every stripe (and that never existed here until waegookin introduced it).

Yes Mark is correct. It is the Yongsan Red Light district across from Yongsan Station that isn’t supposed to exist. I had thought of it before but yes the Korea First Bank is definitely conveniently located.
