Yes this is a picture of Nijo Castle in Kyoto. It is the old Tokugawa residence in Kyoto. It is famous for its Nightingale floors that squeak to when someone walks on them to prevent assassins coming from behind. It is a beautiful place and a must see attraction in Kyoto.
