The message to many Koreans is that it is better to remain in the North than betray to China and be exploited by Chinese capitalists. Less hostility would reduce this trouble by making the Northern people less desperate. Also, the American invasion of Iraq caused many Iraqi women to end up in situations like this in Syria. This made me angry at America when I read it but it did not compare to the abductions of the comfort women by the Japanese.
