Yes Songagi this picture is from the overpass. I figured the station would be the give away for this picture because the station is such a unique structure in Tokyo with its English architecture.

The boutiques, stores, coffee shops, etc. are all still there and as the picture shows this place can get quite busy at night and even during the day with all the youth hanging out in this area.

Behind the station there is a park and that is where the cosplay people like to hang out and show off their outfits. They are actually quite friendly to foreigners and actually want you to take their picture. Definitely a unique part of Tokyo worth checking out.

You took that photo from the pedestrian overpass, didn't you? The station is distinctive with its exterior inspired by English tudor. If my memory serves me correctly, there is a chic little street with lined with boutiques and outdoor cafes, and the road becomes a pedestrian mall on Sundays. I visited Tokyo only three times, but I can still picture the walk down the street to Harajuku and back. There's also a park behind Harajuku Station, isn't there?

Sonagi got it. This is the intersection at Harajuku Station in Tokyo where one can see many of the famous "cosplay" people dressed up in their outfits that Gwen Stefani likes so much.
