South Korea is American’s 9th Most Favorite Nation

I wonder how many of the people who responded to this survey could even find Korea on a map?:

South Korea ranked ninth in a Gallup poll on Americans’ most and least favored nations.

In contrast, North Korea was the second least-favorite country for U.S. residents.

Of the 22 countries rated, Canada topped the most favored list followed by Britain, Germany, Japan, Israel, India, France and Egypt.

Iran was rated the least favored, while North Korea came in just above the Middle Eastern country.

Notably, younger adults aged 18 to 34 had a more favorable view of North Korea compared to those 55 and older. [KBS Global]

All this shows is that Korea was 9th out of 22 countries surveyed which means, middle of the pack in terms of favoribility with the US general public and was beaten out by Egypt of all countries.  It would be interesting what those surveyed would have thought of Korea if they saw these pictures before voting?

Wow!!! Even former MD Governor Shaefer did not know the difference between North and South. Some of members of Congress were blaming South Korea for keeping Pueblo. I can not believed that the respondent to the survey actually knew the difference.
