….really? I don’t like paul watson or agree with all of his tactics. But I don’t talk sh*t about him, cause he’s dome more than I could’ve dreamed to do. Of course he’s crying out to the media, he knows that in order to stop whailing it has to come from the people, because only they can change the laws. and honestly, fuck you if you don’t believe in global warming. I’m a biologist student at uni right now, and I have never met one professor that doesn’t consider global warming a serious threat. WHY WOULD WE MAKE IT UP?! There is nothing to gain. Let’s say for “funsies” that its not true, what harm would it be to better the planet? But honestly, we live in a complex ecosystem, do you really think that we can increase any substance at the rate we are increasing our CO2 and not have a cause and effect situation? And for the a-hole who said that there’s no cry out for chickens and cows and other animals…..uh have you heard of peta? animal liberation front? or is your head stuck too far up your own ass? Oh, and your eco-loon insult sounds more like a praise to me.

Paul Watson did this as an obvious hoax. But it was suppose to be a statement on how the Japanese media twists and makes up hoaxes to allow them to get away with their illegal whaling.
Let me just say the I think Watson is a very pompous guy. I think all those people down there are crazy to do what have been doing in order to stop the Japanese.
But,
I am kinda glad they are…
Its certainly entertaining to me to watch this show in the middle of the when I dont have work sometimes. And I do feel bad for the whales, especially since they are so smart (compared to most animals)

Paul Watson acts like a pompous ass in my opinion. He just happens to have been wearing a bulletproof vest on the day he supposedly was shot when to the best of my knowledge he had never been photographed wearing one before. A guy too wacky for GREENPEACE? A guy who sends the former earthrace boat directly in front of the whaling boats & then bellyaches when his boat is rammed by the whaling boat. I hope that commercial whaling eventually stops but what Watson is doing is turning many people away from supporting legitimate environmental causes. I'm sure his tactics have hardened the Japanese public's attitude to be basically "F you, you're not going to tell our country what we can do."

In case you still check up on this, I suggest not bothering with trying to explain things like this. The truly educated and smart people can figure out this stuff ourselves. The gullible idiots who believe everything they see on t.v. will always remain idiots. Eco-loons will always twist things around to make themselves feel important. I mean just look at the reasoning of the morons who posted here. (A 15 year old trying to dictate what happens in our waters? Stop watching t.v. and go read a book kid.)

If the Japanese like eating Whales so much, why would they hunt them to extinction? That argument makes absolutely no sense you retards.

Why is it no one bothers about how billions of Cows and Chickens are slaughtered every week right here in our own country? Or any other animal we consume? Because they think caring about Whales is the "in" thing at the moment thanks to Whale Wars.

They are terrorists or pirates. Even though I love whales, the Japanese are not breaking any laws. If you want something changed…change the laws don't break them.
