Robin is dating Stanford’s current most famous female coed, golf phenom Michelle Wie, although both have tried to keep things as quiet as possible.
Telling Sports Illustrated about it is an interesting strategy for keeping things quiet, but hey, what do I know about being a celebrity? I’m sure he has his reasons.
Robin Lopez is young, famous, gifted, in the Sweet Sixteen, and dating Michelle Wie, who is legal, loaded, and should Robin see this as a benefit, often far away from home.
How many people on the planet have a better life than Robin Lopez? Not many, friends.

Who is Robin Lopez you may ask? He is a seven foot starter for the Stanford Cardinal basketball team, which has currently advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. As a sophomore this year he averaged 10 points a game. Interestingly enough his twin brother Brook Lopez who is also seven feet tall plays on the team as well and is even more talented then him with a 19 points per game average. I guess Michelle Wie prefers guys with curly hair because that is about the only way you can tell these two apart.

Lopez is definitely living a charmed life, especially with a girlfriend that banked $19 million last year without ever winning a thing. No word yet on how her dad Byung-wook “the only thing about her that’s American is her passport” Wie is taking the fact that his “Korean” daughter is dating a weiguk.
