Unless they've done some real work upstream from here during the rainy season all three of these building will be under a lot of water. I remember water lapping at the underside of the top span of the Banpo a few years back and the closing of the bottom span for many weeks during the rainy season. I wonder if this little problem has been solved? It has been trying for years to make the downtown a vibrant area again, but as of yet nothing has worked. And the only construction projects are the ones deforesting the hills, building superfluous suburban communities, and keeping the roads permanently under construction. Those look sharp.
