    A very beautiful island.

The Japanese followed the convention at the time and sequestered the lepers, mostly for their own safety.

Then after the Japanese left, there was mass murders on many occasions.

“Sorok’s lepers were treated and has continually rejected calls for investigations into bloody incidents in 1948, 1957 and 1964 in which more than 150 lepers were killed.”

because this was done by the Korens, there is no money to be made protesting, and nobody cares.
