Maybe if the guards were actually guarding the sentry and had protected the post from an outside invader like they were suppose to then they would be alive today. How can Korea feel safe from its Northern neighbor if their own military cant guard its base from a psychopath civilian who threatned them with what ultimately was no bomb he had in the first place. Not only should the perpatrator be put to death, but the whole chain of his command should be repremanded for not standing up to that thug. In the end you have 2 dead guards and one soon to be dead convict, and meanwhile this country moves on with the business of the day. Ode to the USFK forces, we are hated, but loved and indeered in times of war and conflict.
