Via Mark comes news that the BBQ grill Beaver’s which has become a Toka-ri icon for soldiers stationed on Camp Casey and Camp Hovey has been put off limits by USFK. You can read more about Beaver’s in this Joong Ang Ilbo article but this is definitely strange because the last time I went there a couple of years ago there was no prostitution going on that I knew of. Anyone know what the story is with this?

Cal, thanks it will be interesting to see if Beaver’s is able to stay open or not by losing so many GI customers. Its a shame because it is a nice place.

If under age drinking gets you put off limits, I wonder when Mitchell’s and Reggie’s and Primo’s will make the list?
I believe the Beaver’s incident involved a Motorcycle as well.

Ahhh, another outlet for black market commisary food and PX alcohol bites the dust. The loss of the military customers won’t lower his earnings past what he actually deserves to be making from his “duty free” operation.
