I recommend everyone go over to the Marmot’s Hole and read the story about the 14 year old son of an American English teacher in Daegu tragically dieing in a jimjilbang under some very suspicious circumstances. My condolences to the mother of this really shocking story that hopefully Korean authorities can get to the bottom of. More details about this story posted here and here as well.

Total incompetance on behalf of the Koreans at the sauna. They let that poor child die. The reason why this is not newsworthy to Korean media is becuase its a foreigner.
Are all people in Daegu like this? This same kind of total incompetance happened during the Daegu subway fire when the conductor sealed in people in the cars and they burnt up.

No. I do not think all people in Daegu are like this. But I do think there are a few seniors who were born there and moved on, who are ruin it for others.
Case in point my ex-husband's mother and stepfather. His mother is a daughter of a third wife, abandoned him when he was 12, worked as a saleslady at the Celine boutique in NY and later married another woman's husband. They live in luxury and splendor in a $2.1MM home (with $3MM loans I later found out).
She really was a bad role model for my ex-husband and probably gave him bad advice. I found out that he died a month after he married someone 20 years younger.
His stepfather continued to give money to Clinton even
after his step son died. It is evident that his mother did not care much about his son.

His stepfather continued to give money to Clinton even
after his step son died. It is evident that his mother did not care much about his son. She would slam things around when he came to visit for Christmas. And when I called to find out about his death, his sister threatened with me with various put downs and intimidation.
Talk about CRAZY! The two women, his mother and sister did nOt gO tO school in the US even for a day. But they would show up with $1,000 Armani jackets and $500 Prada bags.
