Can you just imagine what the Korean reaction would be if these fishermen were Japanese instead of Chinese?:
It is a bumper season for crab fishing in Yeonpyeong Island in the West Sea, with the catch standing at 44.3 tons in April, eight times more than the 5.5 tons caught a year ago. Yet fishermen in the island, far from rejoicing, complain they have had enough of Chinese fishing boats encroaching on their fishing grounds. (…)
Chinese fishing boats reportedly pay the North for permission to catch crabs in the North’s waters. But the problem is the ships often cross the NLL and sweep the South’s fishing ground with pair trawl nets. The complaint goes back to the late 1990s, and of late some 200-300 Chinese boats have been seen every day.
The illegal operation of Chinese fishing ships is also a headache to the South Korean Navy and maritime police. A Navy official said, “Maritime police stops the Chinese boats and fines them, but it’s not easy to crack down because they usually take us by surprise by remaining on the North Korean side mostly and suddenly swooping down.” [Chosun Ilbo]
I think we can all imagine what the Korean reaction would be if Japanese fishermen were doing this, but I did find this reaction from a resident of Yeonpyeong Island interesting:
A resident on the island said Chinese boats come close enough so fishermen onboard urinating. “It’s happening because our country is weak. If it had happened in Japanese waters, Japan would have already arrested them all,” he added.
I guess Korean fishermen should know this quite well considering every year Korean fishing boats are caught violating Japanese waters and are arrested.

Historically, Koreans have always been cowards at sea.

“Korean war junks who wanted to take possession of these ships returned empty-handed to their base, because the persons on board did it in their trousers out of fear.”
They pisssed in fear 1n 1650 and piss in fear in 2008.

The Chinese know how to treat their old slaves.

While it is true that Korean fisherman violate Japanese waters, and steal fish, lets not forget that they are also stealing from the workers that are foolish enough to work for them.
“THREE Solomon Islands crewmen allegedly beaten and mistreated in a Korean Fishing boat have returned home penniless, after working on the ship for more than three months, it was revealed. ”

The Chinese ships stay in the North’s side of the border until the ROK coast guards leave the area. So what do you suggest the ROK do here, GIKorea? Start a war with China over this?
12:48 am on May 28th, 2008 4
Or cross the line into North Korea and sink all the Chinese ships and start a war with North Korea?

Q: What looks like a crab, gets caught like a crab and explodes when it reaches air?
A: The things I would plant in the crab grounds along the border.

The point is that if the Japanese were doing this, there would be a protest outside the Japanese embassy, people chopping their fingers off, and bee man would come out of retirement.
The Chinese can walk through downtown Seoul and go on a government sponsored beat down of Korean citizens and now they are routinely violate Korean waters and nobody cares.

“The Chinese can walk through downtown Seoul and go on a government sponsored beat down of Korean citizens and now they are routinely violate Korean waters and nobody cares.”
Sadly, that seems to be true.
The more I think about the rally of Chinese people in Seul, the more I’m pissed off. Korea needs nukes to protect himself from China. Only if I could buy some ….

“nobody cares.”
Sure lot of people care. Chinese are the least liked people in Korea. The difference is (other than the most recent colonial legacy), the Japanese don’t buy Korean products, but the Chinese do. Market potential and money talks, and it’s also one of the reasons why your own country, the US, bends backwards with their bum high in the air toward your new investor/boss, Mr. China.
So Koreans, for the most part, grin and bear the Chinese who are barely tolerable.

“Chinese are the least liked people in Korea”
True, if you don’t count the Japanese or Americicans. Or black people from any part of earth. Oh and Koreans don’t like Philipinos, Thais or Paki’s much either. In fact, all the Arab’s I have talked to said they were treated like crap in Korea, and that is true for all Asians I know who have been to Korea. Europeans, NZ-Aust, and Canadians seem to have had quite a few negative experences too (seems the white ones get treated like American, even after they tell the racist Koreans they are not).
So, I guess Tom is right, Koreans do hate Chinese the most, if you exclude the rest of the world, which they also hate the most. Tom, I do get a giggle the way you bend over for your old master China Tom.

Sorry, Shattered, I know it hurts to know the truth that you Chinese are not very much liked by anybody, let alone Koreans. Ching chong chang. Chinese Dirty Knees.

Funny how your mentor the Brazilan dishwasher is suddenly silent from his “fight” to stop racism. Yet here you are kyopo “Tom” with your racist comments.
By the way, there are more Chinese restaurants in the USA then McDondalds, Burger King and Taco Bell. Here is a list of loved Chinese in the USA.

“Chinese monkey”
I know Yu are a racist, but calling “tom” a Chinese monkey is a bit over the top even for a bitter Korean dishwasher living in Brazil.
“I understand him, we Koreans are very handsome”
I don’t care about your sexual practices, but keep the racism to yourself. GI Korea Can we do something about this?

“Yet here you are kyopo “Tom” with your racist comments.”
Awww.. look at this Chinese screaming racism. Like they say, you like to give out, but can’t take it when it’s dished right back at you. Thank god I don’t eat lead paint laced food and all that grease and oil. It’s no wonder Chinese are not very intelligent.
5:20 am on May 29th, 2008 15
Easy Shatto, the only ones offended with my comments here are the monkeys compared to you. Even monkeys deserve respect, Hahaha !!!

Let that be a waring to Yu. Your racist comments won’t be tolerated here. You have been exposed as a racist, and although racism and nazi like “racial purity” and “one blood” is encoraged in Korean culture. The civilized world will not accept that.
Also, I suggest that you and “tom” get a room because nobody wants to read your love letters here.
11:49 pm on May 29th, 2008 17
shattered you have been (exposed?) as someone who does not have a firm grasp of the English language.
Please stop writing.

Two weights and two patterns to measure the commentators here. One for the Koreans and one for the rest.
This Chinese kid is the best example of the Chinese’s racist mind yet his insults are tolerated and appreciated here.
GI, I don’t mind being insulted by people here, but I think his biased comments and insults to Korea should be banned or controlled.
12:55 am on May 30th, 2008 19
“GI, I don’t mind being insulted by people here”
As long as you “don’t mind being insulted”, I think you are a chump. Now, I think you do mind being insulted, and you will whine about it, now that would make you a liar. Are you a liar, or a chump? I think both.
“but I think his biased comments and insults to Korea should be banned or controlled.”
I am not sure who you are talking about, but I exposed your racist comments, and they were deleted, so you really don’t have a leg to stand on. If you are upset with your “tom”, I suggest you reslove your differences in bed.
