GI:

Bush's performance has been so awful his second term that Fox turned on him a long time ago, and other conservative and Republican media, commentators, and pundits have followed suit. Likewise, McCain was not a favorite candidate from the beginning. The lukewarm support is obvious and one of the reasons he will probably lose in November. I don't read regularly any of the big blogs on either side, so I don't know whether it's true that Huff and Kos have nothing but love for Obama. I may have a look when I get back from my trip.

The thing is only the conservative blogs will criticize Obama over this. I haven't seen one liberal blog like Kos or Huffington criticize Obama on his North Korea policies. In fact do they criticize Obama on anything? Feel free to drop links because I only check out the larger liberal blogs so maybe on wrong.

At least the conservative blogs criticize both Bush and McCain regularly unlike the liberal blogs who seem to be able to find no faults with Obama.

You can read a whole lot more over at Michelle Malkin, the Jawa Report, Little Green Footballs, and Gateway Pundit who have all commented on the original OFK article.

Birds of a feather flock together. All of the above bloggers hated Obama before he flipflopped. OFK is the only blog I read regularly, and I know that Joshua will criticize a politician of any stripe whose views on North Korea conflict with his. I can't say the same about the others who, like so many on either side of political divide, spend most of their time spitting at the other side.

It seems "a listener" has confused "conservatives" with the abominations that are passed off as Republicans these days.

With that in mind, I can certainly believe people are fed up with Faux News and Republicans.

As for people being fed up with a classical Conservative stance that champions a small, unintrusive government with fiscal responsibility, Libertarian values and even Paleoconservatism... well... not so much.

Neoconservatives ARE NOT CONSERVATIVES. A Neoconservative, by their own definition, is "a liberal who was mugged by reality."

...and the liberal apple didn't fall far from the tree.

What is "pro-conservative" about condemning a politician for breaking a promise he made in writing to his constituents in regards to the kidnapping, torture, and probable killing of a husband and father of US citizens?

As long time readers know I have long been critical of President Bush's North Korea policies so it shouldn't be any surprise that I'm critical of Obama as well.

People are fed up with fox news and Republicans. As a former Republican here in the states all I can say to you is that the "shock and awe" has turned a 180 here in the states. I like your blog, but the pro-Conservative stance is not going to fly anymore.
