I thought they said Jenkins has an IQ of around 80. Looks like he handled himself pretty well in the interview.

Actually Jenkins may be a good choice to run as vice president on the democratic ticket. Like he says in the clip he probably knows more about North Korea than any man alive outside North Korea. His selection may give the party what they need in bringing on board someone with this vast knowledge of foreign policy. Additionally, he is from the South can this could balance the ticket geographically. Of course I am not sure if his courts martial conviction would allow him to be nominated – but heck smoking dope has not stop others.

OK, another reason to consider Jenkins for the VP nominee. He was born in the US and Obama was not.

    (I may be mistaken)

    Pete,

IMO, if you read Jenkins' memoirs, he sounds more conservative than a democrat.

We have 2 options with North Korea, (1)Stop giving them oil and food, pull out our troops and let the other countries deal with that lunatic. Why do we have to police the world? How many American lives are enough. America seems to be the focus of terrorism and radicals.

(2)Start playing hard ball, Drop one large bomb on their largest city. How long must their neighboring countries fear them and why should America loose any more young American lives?

Actually we don't really have any options with North Korea. It's US Policy to keep it's presence in South Korea. NK will do all it's tricks but as long as they don't cross the DMZ the US isn't going to do anything.

If that be true, it sounds like a case of intolerance and close-mindedness.
