It looks like CBS’s Lara Logan was quite a busy woman when she wasn’t busy participating in an astroturfing campaign or disseminating terrorist propaganda footage as news during her time in Iraq:

A veteran news reporter for the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) became involved in two romantic relationships while on assignment in Iraq — one, possibly contributing to a divorce — the New York Post reported Thursday.

Lara Logan, a former swimsuit model and the network’s chief Washington foreign affairs correspondent, reportedly courted the lovers while ducking for cover in Baghdad. One of her reported lovers is CNN’s chief Iraq correspondent and TIME magazine contributor, Michael Ware.

Logan’s other lover, the Post said, was a U.S. embassy worker who is now going through a divorce. However, some acquaintances of the worker say his marriage was doomed prior to the fling with Logan.

Rumors of Logan’s romantic courtships have circulated since December, and one even claimed that a physical altercation happened between Ware and the embassy worker. [...]

Logan, who was born in South Africa, is separated from her husband of nine years. [KUTV]
