The Perfect Terrorist Disguise, Che Guevara T-Shirts!

The big news this week was the rescue of French/Columbian Ingrid Betancourt and three American hostages from the leftist FARC terrorist group in Columbia.  The FARC in the past year has suffered massive defeats from the Columbian security forces and this hostage rescue may be the final nail in their coffin.  Even Hugo Chavez who’s links to the group, which have been confirmed by INTERPOL, is keeping his mouth shut about the future of the terrorist organization.

However what isn’t getting much media attention is how the rescue operation went down:

Santos said military intelligence agents infiltrated the guerrilla ranks and led the local commander in charge of the hostages, alias Cesar, to believe they were going to take them to Alfonso Cano, the guerrillas’ supreme leader.

The hostages, who had been divided in three groups, were taken to a rendezvous where two disguised helicopters piloted by Colombian military agents were waiting. Betancourt said her hands and feet were bound, which she called “humiliating.”

The pilots, she said, were posing as members of a relief organization, but “they were dressed like clowns,” wearing Che Guevara shirts, so she assumed they were rebels.

But when they were airborne, she looked behind her and saw Cesar, who had treated her so cruelly for so many years, lying on the floor blindfolded.

“The chief of the operation said, ‘We’re the national army. You’re free,”‘ she said. “The helicopter almost fell from the sky because we were jumping up and down, yelling, crying, hugging one another. We couldn’t believe it.”

The operation, Santos said, “will go into history for its audacity and effectiveness.”  [MSNBC via Andrew Bolt]

This is absolutely hilarious, I couldn’t stop laughing when I read that.  This just shows you how intellectually bankrupted some of these leftist hippies and college types are that they are willing to wear these shirts that equates them with FARC terrorists.  It is also quite telling that the soldiers were posing as a “relief organization” and wearing Che Guevara shirts.  I’m surprised that isn’t raising a few eyebrows in the media.

What I am going to do for now on every time I see some dope wearing one of these Che Guevara t-shirts is that I am going to ask that person if he is a member of the Columbian Army.

If anyone turning out for the big protest on Saturday night sees one of these Hanchongnyun types wearing a Che shirt you should ask them if they are a member of the Columbian military as well.  If enough people do this maybe these fools will have to quit wearing their stupid shirts.

Even better yet, wear one of these t-shirts.

“IF” this is the way it happened, then it was pretty daring and will make a good movie here in the fiture.

IMHO this drama went on for waaay too long and should have been put to rest very soon after it initially happened.

Of course after recently visiting Iraq I see why nothing ever gets done in these events…as we ARE propping up Colombia.

No Public will, and no desire to really do what is right by the American populace at large.

Better we just concentrate on defending America’s shores and stop sending our young people to die in yet another war that we have no intention of finishing.

Just because a terroist group likes something doesn’t mean that anyone who wears it should have to care that happens to be the case.

If 90 percent of terrorists like cupcakes, Does that make all bakers terrorists?
