Courtesy of the Marmot’s Hole come this link of a Daum photo gallery showing how popular US beef is currently in the few places selling it in Korea:
It is really something when people are bringing coolers to fill with US beef. I wonder how long it will be before the protesting loons will be out in front of this meat market trying to prevent people from buying the beef?
As the above picture shows, the public image of US beef is slowly increasing in Korea as is attributed to this poll included in the Daum gallery:
This poll shows on the left show that 70.3% of Koreans at the height of the protests would not eat US beef. Now the number has dropped to 52.8%. The middle bar shows that at the height of the protests only 27.4% of Koreans would eat US beef and has risen to 43.6% now. The bar on the right is just the undecided people which is small enough to be insignificant.
With pictures of people lining up outside of meat markets with coolers in hand to buy US beef undoubtedly public opinion is going to shift greatly in favor of US beef.

Once the market is fully open it’s game over, and the Korean cattle farmers and leftists who have hijacked their cause have known that all along. The average Korean consumer could care less about all of the political BS surrounding the issue. Like most of us, they’re trying to take care of their families the best way they can and pay the bills on time.

The “I will NEVER eat US beef” numbers continue to fall. Now it’s down to 47.1 percent — if you believe telephone polls.
