The "I will NEVER eat US beef" numbers continue to fall. Now it's down to 47.1 percent -- if you believe telephone polls.

S. Korean homemakers skeptical about buying U.S. beef: poll

SEOUL, July 8 (Yonhap) -- A large percentage of South Korean homemakers are skeptical about buying U.S. beef despite the lifting of the import ban late last month, a poll conducted by a local broadcaster showed Tuesday.

The poll of 511 homemakers conducted by a radio talkshow on KBS revealed 47.1 percent claimed that they will never buy U.S. beef, while 33.6 percent responded that they needed more time to think about the matter.

Once the market is fully open it's game over, and the Korean cattle farmers and leftists who have hijacked their cause have known that all along. The average Korean consumer could care less about all of the political BS surrounding the issue. Like most of us, they're trying to take care of their families the best way they can and pay the bills on time.
