SEOUL, July 8 (Yonhap) — A large percentage of South Korean homemakers are skeptical about buying U.S. beef despite the lifting of the import ban late last month, a poll conducted by a local broadcaster showed Tuesday.

The poll of 511 homemakers conducted by a radio talkshow on KBS revealed 47.1 percent claimed that they will never buy U.S. beef, while 33.6 percent responded that they needed more time to think about the matter.
