Jerry thanks for commenting. I always appreciate hearing from old Korea vets about their experiences in Korea. Have you read, Korea: Between the Wars which is a pretty good book about the time frame you were in Korea.

thougt about mutiny? we actuualy did mutiny.we were very short of food,clothing and fuel.we had no shortage of koreans entering our tent and stealing our posseions while we slept.i agree with fred,if we had proper clothing,decent food supplies,proper training and equipment plus good leadership the north koreans may have had second thoughts about invading the south. 63rd co e 47/48

This is a little vignette from my historical site. As one page of my site equals about 60-100 printed pages, I’ll only paste little bits here.
There is a lot of forgotten history out there and I’ve tried to document it through the eyes of those that were actually there.

I will do the same with the history of Osan AB as well later.
