Today is the 63rd anniversary of the nuclear bombing of the Japanese city of Hiroshima. I recommend everyone read my prior posting where I trace how the bomb went from the Trinity Site in New Mexico to eventually being dropped on the unsuspecting citizens of Hiroshima.
