North Korea to Label Food Aid “Gift from America”

The significance of this is probably being overstated since I’m sure the North Korean propaganda machine will just declare this as tribute from the US to the almighty Kim Jong-il:

North Korea and the United States have reportedly come to an agreement to let North Korean people know that food aid is being provided by the U.S.

Voice of America says the two sides agreed to print labels written in Korean that say “a gift from America” which are to be placed on the food sacks at all of the North’s distribution centers. [KBS Global]
