They should just go ahead and set a timeline for withdrawl and get the inevitable over with.

Let our trops leave with some dignity and let the Iraqi people either step up to the plate, or fall on their face (which I highly predict will happen & Al Qaeda will take over the country, with backing from Iran, etc.).

We removed their dictator and they should be more than grateful for it...but they are not. They are only fighting over the spoils and who can get what.

Due to the lack of an agressive mentality of our country, once again we are leaving a job half-done, since it didn't go as scripted. If we are not/can't finish what we start, then yes, we should concentrate strictly on Homeland security.

Count them: Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. where does it end? I have to agree with many...we should have finished Afghanistan before even thinking about getting involved in Iraq...they need a strong authoritarian type leader, just as many countries throughout the world do.
