The South Korean Coast Guard must be well armed and allowed to use it, when necessary. If the situation was reversed, the Chinese Coast Guard would surely have used firearms against South Korean fishermen in such circumstance. To let this pass will just reinforce the boldness in the Chinese and others to disregard South Korea's sovereignty.
