Finished helping the voter registration at the Osan AB Air Power Day. Anyway, what I learned was that many people — including military — were still waiting for their absentee ballots. We ran out of Federal Write-in ballots to help them and gave this advice:
Go to http://www.fvap.gov and download a write-in ballot. Follow the logic tree to download the materials. Mail the write-in ballot in to your Election registrar where you sent in for your absentee ballot.
Doesn’t matter who you vote for — just get out and vote!!!

How many people do you estimate you were able to get registered to vote?

About fifty total for registration. About thirty helped with the write-in Federal ballots. Some were too late to register (deadline for their states had run out) so we gave them registration forms so they could vote in the NEXT elections. Not great numbers — but it’s the effort that counts.
Quite a few folks stopped by but said they’d come back later because we were busy helping others — and they never came back. A shame…
