The woman behind a North Korean spy scandal that was caught giving defense secrets acquired by sleeping with ROK Army officers has now been sentenced:
- A female North Korean spy who came to South Korea disguised as a defector was sentenced to five years in prison on Wednesday.
Won Jeong-hwa, 35, was sentenced by the Suwon District Court for collecting information on key South Korean military installations and passing it on to North Korean agents in China.
Won has submitted written statements twice to the court, pleading guilty to charges against her and repenting her past activities as a spy. [Yonhap]

Dave, she got caught of course she asks for forgiveness. What about all the years she worked for nK helping undermine South Korea? She got off very lightly. She will be back in business for the north in no time.
