    Team, school, company. Where are the ads showing our soldiers fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan? What are the odds of a new or recent recruit getting shipped off to a combat zone?

    I heard that after the election the new recruiting pitch is, ‘There is almost no chance you will be sent to Iraq.’ Talk up the training, bonuses, education benefits, and how much the economy and civilian job market sucks.

    But possibly unsaid unless specifically asked, ‘There is a very good chance you will be sent to Afghanistan.’ One year later, ‘Wahh! My recruiter lied to me.

    These kids and their parents have no one to blame for allowing themselves to be so clueless and uninformed about what is going on in the real world.

    Lay off the video games and [un]-Reality TV programs.

    There is a video game like no other.

    As you advance in game ranking, you can acquire cheat codes that let you avoid dull and dangerous levels while still collecting points and equipment.

    There is strong and there is Army strong.

    Underwhelming, especially most of the salutes. How hard would it have been to show them all properly done.
