In Korea town, where about 20%-50% of the people are illegal, they would go ape-s h i t.

I'd like to see a poster depicting the police subduing and cuffing a factory owner or hotel chain manager employing undocumented workers. Where there is demand, supply will follow. The government should redirect resources inefficiently being used to round up and deport easily replaceable immigrants towards prosecuting and levying heavy fines on businesses. Reduce the demand and the supply will shrink.

Could you imagine what the reaction in Japan would be if illegal aliens were tolerated (as they are in the US) and committed the degree of crimes they do in the US?

I have seen the yakuza operate with impunity directly under the noses of the police in downtown Osaka. It is also a fact that many yakuza are ethnic Koreans doing illegal trade with the North.
These kinds of posters are a nice distraction from the far more serious complicity between the police and illegal criminal syndicates in Japan.

This shouldn't surprise anyone. Look at what they think of our soon-to-be Commander-In-Chief.

I like the poster and agree with the Japanese in this regard. We in the U.S. do little to nothing to thwart illegal immigration. We actually encourage it to prosper by giving free medical care and free education to illegals and by caring more about their civil rights than my rights and the rights of my family! Why not just stop spending money on it all together to save a few bucks on taxes that we could give to another failing industry! We could let the U.S. become a free range for illegals, change the official language, change the name of the country, give them voting rights (probably have that already).

"I have seen the yakuza operate with impunity directly under the noses of the police in downtown Osaka. It is also a fact that many yakuza are ethnic Koreans doing illegal trade with the North."
A few things:
One, ethnic Koreans belonging to Yakuza were born in Japan, they are not "illegal aliens". Ignorant and prejudiced remark one.
Two, they only make up 10% (according to Japan National Police) of the entire organization – in other words, 90% of them are "pure" 100% Japanese. Yet the Yakuza problem is always blamed on the ethnic Koreans and Korea. You are repeating the traditional Japanese preduices about Koreans in your ignorant prejudiced remark two.

Sonagi, the "demand" originates from the disparity of wealth between developed countries and developing countries. As you are aware, illegal immigration shrunk recently as the U.S. economy shrunk. You should know that if you're a teacher.
The only solution is to let some in, legally. No room to save "White Christian" society or the ethnic purity of Japan.

??????? We already do that. The INS issues about one million immigrant visas per year, about half of which are given to people already in the country. Most of these immigrants are people of color, so you can quit with the race-baiting.

Tom, where did I say that "ethnic" Korean means illegal immigrant? Anyway, not all Zainichi Kankokujin have Japanese passports/citizenship, although they can have permanent residency without naturalizing.
Regardless of the percentage of ethnic Koreans in the yakuza, the yakuza still do a roaring trade with the North, especially shabu or ice from what I have heard. It is also a fact that many yakuza-run bars and s.e.x businesses employ South Korean women (and some men) who are definitely working in Japan illegally.
Thanks again for the lecture!
