Pretty soon the South Korean police will be armed with taser stun guns:
Taser International Inc. announced Monday it has received an order for 550 stun guns from the South Korean National Police Agency as that country seeks to expand the use of such devices.
Scottsdale-based Taser (Nasdaq:TASR) did not disclose terms of the deal. The company has placed its electronic control devices with law enforcement agencies in 40 countries. [Phoenix Business Journal]
I guess instead of beating down people the Korean police can just tase them now, which makes me wonder what the rules of engagement with these thing will be? However, here are some people who come to mind that should be tazed, but probably won’t.
