Once again I ask the question, what would these people expect the South Korean government to do if over the past year 3,000 North Korean rockets had landed in Seoul killing people, causing immense property damage, and forced everyone to sleep in bunkers at night?
Actually knowing the background of the People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy, they would probably welcome a North Korean attack.

Not be impolitic here but this really is an insipid question that unabashedly obfuscates the situation that is precipitating in the Levant.
To attempt a hypothetical analogy between South and North Korea and with that of Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza is to ignore the fact that South Korea has not displaced the people of the DPRK off their land, it has not effectively blockaded the importation of vital goods and services to the population at large, and most importantly it has not imposed on North Koreans the status of a refugee and de facto stateless population.
The day the above happen is the day when your question will have any merit. Until then, you're asking it in vain.

Mr. Maruyama,
Hamas has no intention of ever living in peace with Israel. The issue doesn’t even seem to be the Palestinian people per se but the nature of those who currently rule over them, HAMAS. The problem isn't just Israel, Mr. Maruyama. What I am trying to figure out is what business is it of either the Koreans or the Japanese. Does either country hold a significant vested interest in this conflict; perhaps you need to enlighten me.

Never mind, Maruyama Masao would likely be Zapanese.
