Thanks. Caught the bus to Incheon bus terminal in the middle of the snow storm on Sunday. Snow was piling up making things miserable, but up there in Incheon there was very little snow. Being dressed in a snow suit with rubber snow shoes, I looked like a hick in the subway station.

Spent Solnal with the brother-in-law in Incheon. Went up Sunday and came back on Monday to Anjung -- to eat again (of course) at the sister-in-law's parents house -- where the 4-lane roads were reduced to two lanes because the snow still hadn't melted. Walked around the neighborhood with my nephew and got some real nice winter shots of the rice fields. Then got back to Songtan and the snow hadn't melted here either.

We took the backroads back after the main arteries of Seoul were clogged heading south -- along with the secondary roads. Saw cars backed up on overpasses in both directions. The slushy roads after you got past Baran made driving bad because you had to constantly wash the windshield to see.

Kalani, I would say if there was anything you wanted to do in Seoul now is the time to do it because so many people leave the city on this holiday making the crowds much more manageable.

How many people after reading that article will change their plans, thus undermining both the scientific and practical value of that poll?

Was heading to Kunsan so my daughter could see her old friends -- and I was just going to waste the day tooling around the town to see how it changed since my last visit. BUT got a call that the snow just got WORSE and all my daughter's friends said DON'T COME!!! The weather forecast said it was going to slacken -- well, it didn't. Traffic which normally inches along during the holiday traffic is now stalled in places.

Gotta figure out where to go tomorrow. Anyone got any suggestions for areas near to Songtan or in the Kyonggi area?
