Super Bowl Sunday Open Thread

Have your say about Super Bowl XLIII here.  Go Cardinals!

UPDATE #16: Pittsburgh has won it  27-23.  Holmes should probably be the MVP after all the plays he made on the final drive.  Heck of a game though especially the 2nd half.  Warner’s turnovers and the choke job by the defensive did the Cardinals in against a team too good to make that many mistakes against.  Great job by Pittsburgh.

UPDATE #15: Has there been a bigger choke job in Super Bowl history then the Cardinals defense after giving up the last minute touchdown to a guy everyone in the stadium knew Roethlesberger was looking to go to?

UPDATE #14: Alright here we go can the Cards defense hold Pittsburgh for one more drive?

____________________________________

UPDATE #13: Forget Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald is the hero!  Cardinals now up 23-20!

_____________________________________

UPDATE #12: Kurt Warner has a chance again to be the hero now down 20-16 and with the ball.

____________________________________

UPDATE #11: Here we go will Kurt Warner be the hero or the goat with a chance to win the Super Bowl with a final drive with Arizona down 20-14?

____________________________________

UPDATE #10: Pittsburgh has put three more points on the board to go up 20-7.  If Arizona doesn’t score a touchdown soon it could be all over for them as they are running out of time.

UPDATE #9: James Harrison was defensive player of the year for a reason as he just ran an interception back for a 100 yard touchdown.  Kurt Warner just went from hero to goat in one play.

UPDATE #8: Just saw the Hyundai Genesis commercial and it was actually pretty good with Japanese and German automakers complaining about the Genesis.

____________________________________

UPDATE #7: It looks like it will not be blow out city as Kurt Warner just lit up the Pittsburgh defense on a touchdown scoring drive to close the score to 10-7 Pittsburgh.

____________________________________

UPDATE #6: The first quarter has finished with Pittsburgh up 3-0 and threatening to score a touchdown.  If Arizona doesn’t hold them to a field goal this could turn into a blow out judging by how Arizona is playing so far.

UPDATE #5: Hines Ward has already made a big play on the second play of the game with a 38 yard catch.

____________________________________

UPDATE #4: Alright the game is about to begin!

____________________________________

UPDATE #3: Can someone please tell me what President Barack Obama’s interview in the Super Bowl pre-game show had to do with the NFL?

_____________________________________

UPDATE #2: It looks like Pittsburgh’s Hines Ward will play today, but how healthy he really is remains in doubt.

UPDATE #1: I am sitting here watching the NBC pre-game show and I have to say I am tired of listening to commentators talk about whether Brett Favre will retire or not.
